Rogue Films: Spooky screening

The film Rogue Films is back... from the dead. Join us at the Wharf for a Halloween edition of Rogue Films, our screening series at the intersection of tech and humanity. This time, we’ve dug out the cult classic Tron (1982). A computer hacker is abducted into a digital world and forced to participate in gladiatorial games where his only chance of escape is with the help of a heroic security program. Early CGI, a villain that is literally a program, and a lot of people in very shiny suits. Still weirdly relevant. Stick around after the film for drinks and chatting, which will inevitably descend into a party. Details

FAQS Will there be food or drinks? Whilst we won't be serving food, every ticket includes a drink of your choice, and we always cater for non-alcoholic options. (We promise that doesn't just mean water). Will there be photography? Photography and filming will be taking place at the event for marketing & promotional purposes. If you don’t wish to be photographed that is A-OK, just speak to one of our team on the day! Does the venue have step-free access? The venue is on the second floor of a historic listed wharf and can only be accessed and evacuated by stairs. Unfortunately, it does not have facilities for visitors with limited mobility, so please take this into account when planning your visit. Rogue Films is an event series and spin-off of Rogue Talks created by Made by Many to screen the most interesting, thought-provoking, and nuanced films on the subjects of tech, humanity, and identity.
