AI Transformation Architect
About Dialpad Dialpad is the AI platform for customer experience, built to resolve customer problems in real time across voice and digital. Our AI agents learn from your best human agents and improve with every interaction, helping organizations understand their customers, deliver better experiences, increase operational efficiencies, and build a lasting competitive advantage.
Unlike legacy systems built to route and answer, or standalone agentic bot vendors built to deflect, Dialpad was built to resolve. Our AI agents and human agents operate on a single platform with shared context, allowing Agentic AI to resolve issues, advance deals, and eliminate busywork through automation while seamlessly handing conversations to humans when needed, with full context preserved.
Market-leading brands, including Randstad, Motorola Solutions, Netflix, the San Diego Padres, the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club, and Cal Athletics, trust Dialpad. Dialpad is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, GV, ICONIQ Capital, and T-Mobile.
Being a Dialer At Dialpad, AI isn’t just a feature; it’s how our teams do their best work every day. We put powerful AI tools in every employee’s hands so they can move faster, think bigger, and achieve more.
We believe every conversation matters. And we’ve built the platform that turns those conversations into insight and action, for our customers and ourselves.
We look for people who are intensely curious and hold themselves to a high bar. Our ambition is significant, and achieving it requires a team that operates at the highest level. We seek individuals who embody our core traits: Scrappy, Curious, Optimistic, Persistent, and Empathetic .
Your role The primary purpose of our AI Transformation Architect team is to accelerate the adoption and realization of value from our AI platform by embedding within our most strategic customer accounts. You will be the crucial link that translates complex business challenges into validated, high-impact Agentic AI solution designs, driving business outcomes. AI Transformation Architects will act as the company's most technically fluent business consultant and the customer's most trusted AI architects throughout the presales motion.
What you'll do
Business Translation and Discovery: Rapidly embed with customer stakeholders and operational leaders to deeply understand their most complex, high-stakes business problems. Translate ambiguous business objectives into clear, Agentic AI solutions.
The Go-To-Market Bridge: Partner directly with our Sales, Sales Engineers, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams to serve as the deep technical authority during critical pre-sales evaluations. You don't just sell the vision; you create technical validation through strategic AI workshops and Proofs of Concept.
Product Alignment and Influence: Capture common customer pain points, successful integration patterns, and platform limitations discovered in the field. Synthesize and deliver this critical, high-value signal directly back to our core Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap and accelerate feature development.
AI Envisioning: Navigate complex enterprise infrastructure (cloud, on-prem, data pipelines) to scope integration feasibility. Guide customers through their Agentic AI evaluation, advising and prototyping integration and custom data connectors, orchestration logic, and full-stack systems that bring AI to life.
Agentic AI Discovery: Discover and advise complex multi-agent systems, architectures, and fine-tuned models tailored to the customer's unique data, domain, and security requirements during the presales motion. As part of AI envisioning workshops, demonstrate feasibility of multi‑step prompts, retrieval pipelines, and decision logic that plug into CRMs, ERPs, and custom APIs via our MCP framework.
Skills you'll bring
4+ years of experience in a high-impact, customer-facing technical role such as AI Architect, Technical Consulting, high touch Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture, or technical consulting for SaaS/AI products.
Deep, demonstrable expertise in the modern AI/ML stack: LLMs, Generative AI concepts, vector databases, and agent orchestration frameworks. Proficiency in Python, Go, JS/TS plus hands‑on experience with LLM frameworks.
Unrivaled Business Acumen: The ability to simplify technical complexity and communicate clear trade-offs, value propositions, and project plans to both a core engineering team and a non-technical C-suite executive.
You thrive in ambiguity, take full ownership of outcomes, and are driven by delivering tangible, measurable results for the customer, often working under tight timelines.
Contributor to a dynamic team culture, focused on high growth industry innovation, team collaboration, customer success, and having fun!
