INVITE ONLY | EU Campus | London Networking Event 1 Oct
This event is only for people who got personally invited to attend
Our London office is growing, and FX and commodities sit at the centre of that growth. On Thursday 1 October we're opening the doors to 25 final-year and Masters students who want to see how a market maker actually works.
From 16:00:
A tour of the trading floor
Welcome from our London Managing Director
How we trade FX: strategy, technology, and the people behind it
Our commodities desk: what we trade and why it's interesting
A few words from IMC's global CEO
Then we head to a bar nearby to talk properly with our London traders, engineers, and quants
Take the chance to ask the questions you can't get answered from a careers page - and to leave knowing whether this is the kind of place you want to start your career.
Who we're looking for: penultimate & final-year students in any quantitative discipline - maths, physics, computer science, engineering, econometrics. Curiosity matters more than a specific course.
Places are limited to 25 and allocated on a first-come basis. # LI-DNI # LI-DNP
About Us
IMC is a research-driven trading firm where quantitative modeling, machine learning, and engineering shape how modern markets are traded. A stabilizing force in markets since 1989, we provide liquidity across trading venues, delivering the best outcome in value and risk management to investors. Using our own technology and capital, we build proprietary systems and algorithms that operate across global markets. Our researchers, traders, and engineers work as a collective, combining rapid experimentation, advanced infrastructure, and real-time feedback to turn insight into execution and execution into advantage.
