Justt is a leader in AI-driven chargeback automation, helping enterprise merchants, PSPs and PayFacs recover revenue, reduce operational workload and win more disputes at scale.
This is a senior, externally facing chargebacks and payments expert role for EMEA. The role is not quota-carrying, but is measured on revenue through shortening sales cycles, improving win rates on strategic deals and strengthening Justt’s reputation among EMEA payments leaders. The role sits between Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Customer Success and Product, acting as a trusted customer-facing expert and the voice of the EMEA market inside Justt.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the senior payments and chargebacks subject-matter expert for EMEA’s strategic merchants, PSPs and PayFacs before and after the sale. - Joining business reviews and escalations on top EMEA accounts when executive credibility is needed, then handing operational follow-up to Customer Success Managers and Sales Engineers. - Identifying expansion opportunities involving new merchant IDs, regions, PSPs, alerts and RDR strategy, and bringing them to the account owner. - Owning Justt’s EMEA event presence at MRC and PLS in London and Amsterdam, Money20/20 Europe, Merchant Payments Ecosystem and country forums across DACH, Benelux, the Nordics, France and Iberia. - Leading roundtables, breakfast briefings, panels and fireside chats, including bringing customers on stage. - Participating in industry bodies and working groups such as MRC EMEA committees and the Payments Association, and turning market insight into intelligence for Justt. - Helping recruit EMEA members for the Justt Council, the company’s advisory and evangelist network, and co-hosting its sessions. - Partnering with Sales on complex, high-value enterprise deals, including chargeback strategy, ROI framing, objection handling and late-stage validation. - Running dispute-strategy workshops with Heads of Payments, Risk and Operations covering alerts, representment, automation, evidence quality and network monitoring programmes. - Supporting PSP, acquirer and PayFac co-selling with domain credibility. - Preparing Account Executives for key meetings and coaching them on the payments story. - Publishing an original EMEA point of view through articles, LinkedIn, webinars, podcasts and publications such as The Paypers. - Covering EMEA-specific topics including PSD2/PSD3 and SCA, 3DS liability shift, Visa VAMP and Compelling Evidence 3.0, Mastercard monitoring programmes, local schemes such as Cartes Bancaires and iDEAL/Wero, alternative payment methods and agentic commerce. - Interviewing customers to build case studies and reference stories for the EMEA pipeline. - Building reusable talk tracks, one-pagers and benchmark decks with Marketing and Enablement. - Turning EMEA customer and market feedback into prioritised product input with Product and Customer Success. - Sharing scheme and regulatory changes with Sales, Customer Success and Product, including concise explanations of what they mean for merchants. - Feeding EMEA insight into go-to-market choices covering target verticals, messaging and event mix.
In the first 90 days, the role will join live EMEA deal calls, build relationships with regional sales and customer teams, lead initial events, publish original content and support more than 10 active opportunities. Within a year, the supported deals should close faster and at a higher win rate, while the postholder becomes a recognised EMEA voice with regular speaking opportunities at leading industry events.
Requirements include 7+ years of experience in payments, chargebacks, fraud or risk at an enterprise merchant, PSP, acquirer, scheme or payments SaaS vendor; deep knowledge of Visa and Mastercard dispute rules, alerts and RDR, 3DS, SCA and monitoring programmes; an established network among EMEA Heads of Payments, Fraud and Risk; experience supporting complex enterprise sales in a pre-sales, advisory or subject-matter-expert capacity; and a strong public-speaking record including panels, talks or published content. The role requires a commercial mindset, including the ability to connect dispute strategy with merchant revenue, cost, customer experience and Justt’s commercial objectives. The postholder must work independently, create momentum without formal authority and adapt to changing business needs.
Desirable experience includes a second European language such as German, French, Dutch or Spanish; experience in high-dispute sectors such as travel and hospitality, digital goods, subscriptions, marketplaces or gaming; membership of MRC EMEA, the Payments Association or a similar organisation; a clear view of AI and agentic commerce and their implications for disputes and liability; and confidence using AI tools to research, analyse and prepare quickly.
