We are hiring an Engagement Associate to work closely with our Engagement Managers, strengthening and growing our relationships with leading retailers. You will start close to the ground by understanding our technology, supporting deployments and managing day-to-day client operations, with the goal of independently owning accounts. The DACH retail market is one of our most strategically important, and your work will directly shape how Trigo shows up for significant clients while engaging with senior management early on.
We are looking for a native or fluent German speaker with strong English; other languages are a plus. You should have a background bridging business and technology, such as Business Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent, and be comfortable understanding and clearly communicating technical issues to engineering teams. We value a high-ownership mindset, a willingness to learn quickly, collaboration across time zones and an AI-first way of working. Flexibility to travel regularly is required. Experience in a client-facing or operational role, including internships and student projects, familiarity with retail or FMCG environments, exposure to AI, computer vision, IoT or edge computing, and experience with international or cross-cultural teams are advantageous.
In your first 12 months, you will visit stores, speak with client staff and understand how the technology performs in the real world. You will coordinate issue resolution with TechOps and R&D, use analytics tools to turn data into evidence-backed recommendations, work with client operations and IT teams to identify friction and product opportunities, manage day-to-day queries, communicate proactively with stakeholders and surface insights that drive action. You will also experiment with AI tools in your workflows, including analysing data and drafting communications.
As you grow into the role, you will own engagement tasks for clients, support rollout planning and expansion coordination across accounts, run client reporting, operational reviews and senior briefings, use data to identify trends and position Trigo as a forward-thinking partner, and feed field insights back to Product and R&D to help shape the roadmap.
Trigo offers a fast-paced, high-trust environment with a culture of directness, curiosity and ownership. You will be close to the technology, clients and decisions that shape the company, with active investment in your development and a clear growth path to client engagement. The role offers a front-row seat to deploying real-world AI across one of Europe's largest retail markets, work in a small, high-calibre team and experience working across cultures. Flexible working is available as hybrid in London, preferably, or hybrid/remote in Germany in the Düsseldorf area.
