Join Tripledot Studios’ central AI team to help build a game event data hub bringing together data from multiple studios. This is a new senior role, initially focused on data ingestion, preparation and quality, ensuring the team understands the health of its data assets and can alert the right people when something fails. You will work primarily within the central AI team, coordinating with studio data engineers through their points of contact so that the solutions you build align with their teams’ patterns. Over time, you will rotate into other areas of the team’s work, including productionising and maintaining machine-learning pipelines.
Key responsibilities include helping to build the game event data hub and ingest data from multiple studios; developing and orchestrating data ingestion, preparation, quality checks and backfills; centralising dataset metadata and data-quality information using tools such as OpenMetadata; improving monitoring and notifications so teams know when pipelines or data assets need attention; coordinating changes with studio data engineers to keep shared solutions aligned with their needs and patterns; and contributing to the productionisation, monitoring and maintenance of machine-learning pipelines as you rotate across the team’s responsibilities.
You should have experience building and operating data pipelines, including ingestion, preparation, data-quality checks, backfills and orchestration, as well as working knowledge of Kubernetes, Airflow, SQL and Spark. You will take a practical approach to delivering work, with reliability and consistency in how you maintain systems and work with others, and be able to collaborate constructively with engineers within your team and across studios. Experience in the games industry is beneficial but not required. Experience with change data capture or streaming, exposure to machine-learning workflows and knowledge of Kubeflow are also useful.
Benefits include 25 days’ paid holiday in addition to bank holidays; hybrid working with three office days per week, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays plus a third day of your choice; 20 days of remote working from anywhere in the world or to cover mandatory office days; a daily £12 lunch allowance when working in the office; regular company events and rewards; an Employee Assistance Programme; family-forming and fertility support subject to policy; life assurance and group income cover; continuous professional development; optional private medical cover and a health cash plan with Bupa and Medicash; optional dental cover; a cycle-to-work scheme; and a pension plan with qualifying earnings or optional 4% contributory match schemes.
