Statutory Reporting Manager

About Volta Volta is the category-defining, fully vertically integrated AI infrastructure platform – from capital to clusters to software, under a founder-led enterprise. Our mission is The Utility of Compute™: AI infrastructure as dependable and available as electricity, for every organization that needs it. Launched with a $10B strategic partnership with one of the leading frontier AI labs, a Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, and a $5B AI Infrastructure Fund, Volta is building the infrastructure layer of the AI era from the ground up. We are 100+ people across London, Palo Alto, and New York, with rapid growth expectations to hundreds.

About The Role The Statutory Reporting Manager owns statutory financial reporting across Volta's group — a fast-growing set of holding, operating, and financing entities spanning the UK, US, Norway, Luxembourg, and Spain. As the group adds entities and jurisdictions at pace, you will make sure every legal entity meets its local statutory reporting obligations accurately, on time, and to a standard that holds up under audit and investor scrutiny. Working closely with the Corporate Secretary, external auditors, and local advisors in each jurisdiction, you will own the full statutory reporting cycle — from local GAAP/IFRS preparation through audit management to filing — while building the processes that let this function scale as the entity count grows. What You Will Be Doing Own the USGAAP to IFRS bridge

Own preparation and filing of statutory financial statements across all group entities and jurisdictions

Manage the external audit process for statutory accounts, coordinating with auditors and local advisors

Ensure compliance with local GAAP/IFRS requirements and statutory filing deadlines across the UK, US, Norway, Luxembourg, and Spain

Partner with the Corporate Secretary on entity management, ensuring statutory reporting aligns with the group's entity structure and filing calendars

Maintain technical accounting positions and disclosures required for statutory accounts, escalating judgement calls where needed

Build and maintain a statutory reporting calendar across all jurisdictions, tracking deadlines and filing status

Coordinate with local finance teams, tax advisors, and registered agents to gather the information statutory accounts require

Standardise statutory reporting processes and templates as new entities are added to the group

Support ad hoc statutory reporting needs arising from financings, joint ventures, and M&A activity

Assist, where necessary, with the implementation of the ERP as far as it impacts statutory reporting

What You Bring Significant experience in statutory reporting, ideally within a multi-jurisdiction group or professional services environment (accounting firm or in-house)

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)

Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS; familiarity with US, Nordic, or other European statutory reporting regimes is a strong advantage

Experience managing external audit relationships and statutory audit processes

Comfortable working across multiple entities and jurisdictions simultaneously, tracking deadlines without prompting

Meticulous attention to detail and strong technical accounting judgement

Organised and self-directed, able to bring structure to a fast-moving, multi-entity environment
