Albany Ventures Fund III

Albany Ventures Fund III was an early-stage venture capital fund managed by Albany Venture Managers and co-managed with Alliance Trust (formerly Alliance Witan), based in Edinburgh. The fund was registered in May 2002, targeted investments in technology, software, and life sciences companies across the UK, and achieved a £40 million close. The fund has since been liquidated and Albany Venture Managers was subsequently acquired by Alliance Trust and dissolved.
