Equity Gap

Equity Gap is an Edinburgh-based business angel syndicate established in 2010 to match investors with early-stage companies seeking funding. With around 150 active members, the syndicate typically invests between £100,000 and £500,000 at seed stage, often co-investing alongside Scottish Enterprise match funding, and maintains a portfolio of over 30 companies spanning consumer products, food and drink, life sciences, and SaaS. It has been recognised as Scotland's most frequent backer of female-led businesses.
