LGV Capital was the private equity arm of Legal & General Group plc, specialising in UK mid-market buyouts across consumer, healthcare, leisure, and business services sectors. Founded in 1987 and formerly known as Legal & General Ventures, the firm entered run-off in 2013 after its parent exited the private equity business, and the company was formally dissolved in March 2020 following full realisation of its portfolio.
