Manchester Technology Fund was a £6 million early-stage equity fund established in 1999 under the UK Government's University Challenge scheme, managed by the University of Manchester and supported by the Wellcome Trust. It focused on spinning out companies from the University across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, IT, and life sciences, and has since been liquidated and merged into the UMIP Premier Fund.
