NIHR

The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) is the UK government's principal funder of clinical, public health, social care and translational research, funded by the Department of Health and Social Care. Established in 2006, it funds and enables world-class health and care research across England through a network of biomedical research centres, applied research collaborations and clinical research facilities.
