Presidio Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Sumitomo Corporation, founded in 1998 and based in Silicon Valley, investing in technology companies across enterprise IT, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital media, mobility, IoT, fintech, and robotics. The firm has invested in more than 200 companies and helps US startups access Sumitomo's global network and the Japanese market. In 2022, Presidio Ventures Europe was launched with a UK base in London to focus on deep tech, energy, mobility, agri-food, and healthcare.
