Royal Society of Biology

The Royal Society of Biology is a membership organisation and registered charity representing a diverse community of biologists across education, research, and industry in the UK. Formed in 2009 from the merger of the Biosciences Federation and the Institute of Biology, it was granted royal charter status in 2015. Its mission is to advance biology education and practice and to coordinate the study and application of the biological sciences.
