The Faraday Institution is the UK's flagship institute for electrochemical energy storage research, skills development, market analysis, and early-stage commercialisation, founded in 2017. It unites academic researchers and industry partners to advance battery technology, reduce manufacturing costs, and support the UK's clean energy and energy security goals. It operates as a registered charity and serves as a delivery partner for the UK Research and Innovation Battery Innovation Programme.
