The North West Fund

The North West Fund is a £155 million regional investment fund established to provide debt and equity finance to small and medium-sized enterprises in the North West of England, jointly financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Investment Bank (EIB). Managed by North West Business Finance Limited, the fund deployed capital through six specialist sub-funds targeting sectors including biomedical, digital, creative, and general development capital. The fund is now fully invested, having supported over 443 businesses with more than £153 million and levering over £170 million in private sector co-investment.
