
The Welsh Development Agency (WDA) was a Welsh government executive body established in 1976 to stimulate economic development in Wales by encouraging business investment, clearing derelict land, and supporting the growth of local businesses. It was dissolved in April 2006, when its functions were absorbed into the Welsh Government.
