
The White Rose Technology Seedcorn Fund was a £9 million early-stage fund created in 1999 through the UK DTI's University Challenge competition to invest in technology spin-outs from the Universities of York, Leeds, and Sheffield. Managed by Maven Capital Partners, it invested in over 30 spinout companies across disciplines including sensors, software, biomedical technology, and wound healing. The fund is permanently closed.
