Founders of the Future

Founders of the Future is a competition run by Tech Nation in partnership with Founders Forum, targeting exceptional early-stage founders aged 25 and under across the UK and US. Finalists pitch live at the London Tech Week finale for up to £500,000 in investment backed by a network of venture capital firms. The programme was launched by Founders Forum in 2016 and is sector-agnostic, aiming to discover and accelerate the most promising young founders.

Foundervine is an award-winning UK social enterprise and accelerator that supports entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds to start and scale businesses. Founded in 2017 by Izzy Obeng, it runs immersive entrepreneurship labs and programmes such as The Foundry accelerator and the Barclays Black Founder Accelerator, and has supported over 1,600 businesses and more than 4,400 founders. It has been named twice by the Financial Times and Statista as one of Europe's most dynamic start-up ecosystems.

It organises talks, workshops and networking events covering Google technologies and broader developer topics, with over 3,300 members. The group is independently run and welcomes developers of all experience levels.

HBA is a member of the UK Business Angels Association and a signatory of the Investing in Women Code.

Founded originally at King's College London in 2010, it has been hosted at UCL since 2012.

International House Brixton

3Space International House Brixton is London's largest affordable workspace, an 11-storey building operated by 3Space (Registered Charity No. 1136377, founded 2010) under its BuyGiveWork model, whereby revenue from commercial tenants cross-subsidises free space for community organisations, charities, and social enterprises. The building opened in autumn 2018 and provides fixed desks, private offices, and five community Give Hubs, delivering approximately 15 times the social value of a typical office according to an independent study. The lease with Lambeth Council runs until spring 2027.

LISA also convenes the broader ecosystem through events for researchers, policymakers, and funders.
