Dwelly is building the AI operating system for residential lettings, operating more than 15,000 properties and $470 million in GMV. It is a fast-growing, product-focused company backed by top-tier investors and led by a team with experience in real estate, technology and operations.
At Dwelly, Operations means problem-solving at scale across agencies, landlords, tenants, payments and maintenance. The Operations Associate will join one of the operations teams and run high-impact projects end-to-end, scaling processes that were not built for the company’s pace of growth, fixing issues arising from new acquisitions, and building systems that enable the business to run more agencies without adding headcount.
The role will be deployed where the impact is highest, with the exact team and projects evolving as the business develops. It is a hands-on, high-exposure role designed as a fast development pathway into an Operations Manager position. The successful candidate will work directly with experienced operators and take on significant ownership early in the role.
Responsibilities include owning ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives spanning operations, product, agency teams and the maintenance provider network; managing maintenance supply, process rollouts, SOP design and adoption, KPI dashboards and post-acquisition integration support; owning the feedback loop for the maintenance provider platform and mobile app; relaying user feedback to the product team and building small fixes; testing and iterating scalable processes and playbooks before rolling them out across acquired agencies; travelling within the UK as required; analysing data to identify root causes, propose solutions and implement them; executing initiatives to drive revenue from ancillary services while maintaining an exceptional landlord and tenant experience; and building and optimising processes to improve speed, reliability and cost-efficiency without compromising service standards.
Candidates should have experience in a fast-paced environment such as investment banking, consulting or PE/VC, and/or at least two years at a high-growth, AI-native startup. They should have built something from zero to one, be naturally curious, able to break complex problems into actionable components, possess strong analytical skills and enjoy working with data. An extremely structured, execution-driven working style and excellent attention to detail are required. Candidates should also have hands-on AI fluency, using LLMs to analyse, draft, automate and build small tools without waiting for engineers.
Dwelly hires for high agency, high intelligence and high integrity. Nice-to-have experience includes SQL, operational technology businesses, marketplaces, proptech or service businesses, as well as side projects, automations or internal tools that the candidate has built and shipped.
The role offers a competitive salary based on performance, recognising exceptional contributions to integration success. Dwelly describes its working environment as focused on solving complex problems in residential rentals, with an emphasis on customer obsession, invention, operational excellence and long-term thinking.
