NexGen Cloud is a fast-growing GPU cloud and AI infrastructure business behind Hyperstack, a self-serve, on-demand cloud platform for high-performance AI, HPC and compute-heavy workloads. Powered by 100% renewable energy and NVIDIA architecture, Hyperstack provides teams from AI startups to enterprise with the compute they need without the cost or complexity of legacy cloud.
We are deploying GPU infrastructure across multiple sites at increasing speed, and every deployment needs a complete network design from customer requirement through to physical build and handover. This work currently sits with a small number of senior staff, limiting how many deployments can move forward at once. We need someone who can own that lifecycle end-to-end and run five or more deployments at a time.
This role is for someone comfortable owning a design from a customer's first requirement through to a validated handover, coordinating a build they are not physically present for, and selecting the right vendor for each problem rather than defaulting to one technology stack.
You will own network design end-to-end for GPU deployments, from customer requirements to handover; turn customer requirements covering BGP, IP addressing, firewalls and connectivity into buildable cable and rack plans; coordinate third-party deployment partners on physical builds and validate their work remotely before sign-off; run five or more concurrent deployments, each on its own timeline; resolve network issues that surface after deployment through to full customer handover; and select the right vendor and technology for each deployment.
You should have broad, multi-vendor network engineering experience, including Cisco, rather than single-vendor depth alone. You should have taken network projects from customer requirement through design, build coordination and handover, with hands-on implementation experience. Strong customer-facing technical communication is required, including the ability to gather requirements and translate them into actionable designs. You should also be able to run multiple concurrent deployments remotely and coordinate third-party build partners without being on site. Experience with EVPN and VXLAN is required.
Exposure to NVIDIA, Arista, FortiGate or Juniper is desirable, with Arista particularly valued. OpenStack Neutron networking experience is also useful, as is experience at an MSP, ISP, colocation or cloud provider, or systems integrator delivering end-to-end network deployments.
The package includes a competitive salary and annual discretionary bonus scheme, employee wellbeing benefits, 25 days' holiday plus public holidays, private medical insurance, an enhanced pension scheme, flexible working arrangements that may be remote or hybrid depending on the role and location, real ownership and autonomy, visible and meaningful impact as the company scales, clear career progression, a collaborative international culture built on trust, transparency and ownership, and the opportunity to help shape NexGen Cloud's team, culture and future.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds. If you enjoy solving complex infrastructure problems and want to build something meaningful at scale, we would like to hear from you.
