As a Senior Content Designer, you will take ownership of the quality and strategic direction of content across your squad or product area. You will bring expert content design judgement, deep user insight and a collaborative mindset to shape product experiences that are clear, inclusive and emotionally engaging. You will support junior content designers, influence cross-team content strategy and drive alignment across product, design and engineering. You will be expected to demonstrate an exceptional grasp of design thinking and content design expertise, deliver well-considered ideas to senior stakeholders and drive content design strategy.
You will be responsible for end-to-end content design strategy and execution on projects, from discovery through delivery, launch and ongoing iteration. You will partner closely with product managers, product designers and engineers to embed content strategy in product discovery and delivery, shaping scope, trade-offs and sequencing. You will define exceptional, accessible and inclusive content that builds trust, clarity and meaningful user engagement.
The role involves wireframing and prototyping in Figma, with clear rationale and adherence to design systems and content design principles. You will define content design strategy aligned with business objectives and technical feasibility, craft high-quality content for complex product flows, interface text, microcopy, error messaging, help content and documentation, and set the bar for tone, clarity and consistency.
You will take a strong role in qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, usability tests, A/B experiments, content audits and analytics, using insight as a core design input. You will collaborate proactively to shape product direction, surface trade-offs and influence delivery approaches. You will drive the evolution of content design style guides, working closely with brand, marketing and communications teams, and design thoughtful content that enhances usability, emotional impact and user satisfaction.
You will balance speed and rigour with sound judgement about when to ship and when to polish, particularly in complex or fast-moving environments. You will support junior content designers, lead alignment and collaboration across teams and stakeholders, communicate content design rationale clearly, facilitate strategic working sessions and foster a culture of sound content design practices, constructive feedback and shared accountability. You will justify content design decisions to senior stakeholders, deliver work in a standardised format that you help evolve, and present multiple insight-informed variations with the advantages and disadvantages of each solution.
To succeed, you will need 5+ years of experience working as a content designer; strong content design, design thinking and end-to-end product thinking skills; strong stakeholder management and communication skills; and the ability to work in a fast-changing environment where processes are still being defined. You will need experience with A/B testing, UX metrics, data interpretation and independently driven research initiatives, as well as strong product intuition and an understanding of user needs, business constraints and technical feasibility. Good knowledge of Figma, including collaboration, prototyping and producing agile solutions quickly with little or no help, is required. Experience using AI or building AI workflows and tools is an advantage.
You should have experience working in cross-functional teams and be able to advocate for content design across company areas and embed it early in product planning. You will actively contribute to a content design system by creating reusable patterns and components. Experience in fintech or SaaS environments is a strong advantage. The role also requires the ability to explain the reasoning behind decisions and work effectively with stakeholders.
The recruitment process consists of an application and portfolio review, a recruiter conversation, a leadership interview with the lead content designer, and a content design task and portfolio presentation. Portfolio case studies should demonstrate end-to-end product thinking, research-driven work and impact.
