Carta is a San Francisco-based equity management platform that helps private companies, investors, and employees manage cap tables, 409A valuations, equity plans, and fund administration. Originally founded as eShares in 2012, it rebranded to Carta in 2017 and expanded into the UK and European markets through its acquisition of Capdesk. The platform manages over $2 trillion in equity for nearly two million people globally.
