Central Research Laboratory (CRL) is the UK's leading accelerator and co-working space for hardware startups and product pioneers, offering 24/7 workspace, specialist prototyping facilities and business support programmes including the CRL Accelerator. Originally established in Hayes, West London in 2015 at the Old Vinyl Factory, it relocated in November 2023 to the Plus X Innovation hub in Slough, where it continues to support entrepreneurs developing physical products; between 2017 and 2023 the CRL Accelerator supported 69 companies across 10 cohorts.
