Enterprise Ventures

Enterprise Ventures was a Preston-based early-stage and growth finance provider focused on SMEs across the North of England, managing funds including the North West Fund for Venture Capital and the Rosebud Finance fund. Founded in 1982, the firm was acquired by Mercia Technologies in March 2016 for up to £11 million and subsequently rebranded as Mercia Fund Managers. It specialised in seed and early-stage equity investments, growth financing, and management buy-outs.
