Finance Birmingham

Finance Birmingham is an FCA-regulated investment manager owned by Birmingham City Council, founded in 2010 to provide alternative funding channels for SMEs in the West Midlands following the 2008 financial crisis. The firm manages regional and national funds on behalf of government and institutional partners, offering growth capital, sector-specific funding, and property investment to growing businesses. It spawned Frontier Development Capital in 2016 as a national debt finance operation.
