NPL

The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is the UK's National Metrology Institute, responsible for maintaining national primary measurement standards and providing measurement science, calibration, testing and consultancy services to industry and government. Founded in 1900, it operates across acoustics, biosciences, communications, engineering, quantum research and many other scientific domains.
