
Ofcom is the UK's communications regulator, responsible for television, radio, telecoms, and postal services, as well as online safety regulation under the Online Safety Act 2023. It was established by the Communications Act 2003 and is a statutory corporation accountable to Parliament. Ofcom operates across multiple UK offices including London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Belfast.
