Wayra

Wayra is Telefónica's corporate venture capital and open innovation arm, founded in 2011 and headquartered in Madrid. It invests €150k–€5M in technology startups across Europe and Latin America, with a focus on areas aligned with Telefónica's strategic priorities such as AI, cybersecurity, IoT, fintech, and digital health. Wayra has invested over €245 million in more than 1,100 startups, maintaining an active portfolio of over 530 companies.
