Royal Aeronautical Society

The Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) is the world's oldest aeronautical society and the only professional body dedicated to the entire global aerospace community, founded in 1866 as the Aeronautical Society of Great Britain. It sets and maintains professional standards across aerospace disciplines, provides specialist knowledge and resources, and influences public policy affecting the aerospace, aviation, and space sectors. The Society operates a global network of 67 branches and offers membership grades including Member, Fellow, and Companion.
