Climate tech in London

London’s climate tech ecosystem is incredibly broad, spanning energy, carbon markets, industrial decarbonisation, materials and the built environment, with the capital’s financial centre providing a natural route from innovation to deployment. Companies such as Octopus Energy Group, Carbon Clean, Sylvera, 44.01 and Notpla sit alongside specialist investors, accelerators and public institutions including Innovate UK. That concentration of technical expertise, climate finance and commercial customers makes London one of the world’s strongest places to build and scale climate technology.
