Senior Product Analytics Manager – Online Platforms, Wise. Full-time role with compensation of GBP 105,000–GBP 150,000 yearly.
Wise is a global technology company building a better way to move and manage the world’s money. The role will lead analytics for the Online Platforms vertical, one of Wise Platform’s biggest growth opportunities, working with product, engineering, operations and commercial leaders to shape product and go-to-market strategy. As part of the vertical leadership team, you will shape priorities through insight and analysis and drive cross-functional stakeholders to action.
This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role in a fast-scaling “start-up within a scale-up” environment. You will turn ambiguous problems into structured analysis, insights into compelling narratives and opportunities into high-conviction product bets. You will develop a deep understanding of Wise’s products, partners and opportunity areas, own the vertical’s performance and help analysts and cross-functional partners work through complex and ambiguous problems.
You will manage a team from day one while building and scaling a high-performing product analytics function. You will set the analytics vision and roadmap, develop analysts and establish the data, metrics and ways of working needed to support the vertical as it grows. You will help identify product, growth and commercial opportunities; determine which customers and products to build for; reduce time to revenue; improve partner scaling; address friction across the onboarding and transaction lifecycle; prioritise products for long-term impact; and structure and resource teams effectively.
You will own the vertical’s growth and performance end-to-end, defining and managing KPIs and metrics, identifying root causes, undertaking deep dives and turning insights into actionable recommendations. You will lead product discovery, market and opportunity sizing for product initiatives, using this work to shape strategy, prioritise opportunities and influence product and commercial roadmaps. You will build the analytics foundations needed to scale, including reliable data models, clear metric definitions and effective self-serve reporting. You will lead, coach and develop a team of product analysts, setting a high bar for analytical quality, commercial thinking and impact.
You will partner with product, engineering, operations and commercial leadership to turn complex analysis into compelling narratives and clear recommendations, influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional teams to action.
Wise is looking for an experienced product analytics leader with a strong track record of building, managing and scaling high-performing analytics teams. You should have experience in high-growth B2B technology companies and close partnership experience with product and preferably enterprise sales teams. Experience in fintech, particularly payments, is preferred, or you should be excited to build expertise in Wise’s products, partners and competitors. You should be commercially minded and comfortable with opportunity sizing, forecasting, prioritisation and scenario modelling.
You should be proficient in SQL and familiar with data pipeline management tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Git, Airflow, Python and Lightdash. You should be comfortable owning analytics from data transformation through to actionable insights, and be expert at creating dashboards and visualisations that tell a clear story and offer diagnostic power. You should be solution-oriented, able to own projects from start to finish, motivate stakeholders, negotiate priorities and timelines, and communicate effectively to influence senior stakeholders. You should be comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels.
The process includes a 30-minute recruiter screening call, a take-home case study with seven days to submit, a 1.5-hour technical interview, a one-hour stakeholder interview and a one-hour final interview. Wise is committed to diverse, equitable and inclusive teams and has an international workforce where people are respected, empowered to contribute and able to progress in their careers.
